Paris Hilton is making the most of motherhood—especially all the adorable gifts she never thought to add to her newborn checklist and baby registries. The 42-year-old hotel heiress, reality star and DJ welcome her first baby with husband Carter Reum in January via surrogate.
On a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, she opened up about her experience as a new mom and some of the best gifts she’s received from friends in her first few weeks playing the role of “Mom.”
Her son, Phoenix, is now about six weeks old and has already stacked up a pile of impressive gifts.
“Kim [Kardashian] and Kourtney [Kardashian] and Kris [Jenner] sent me this giant alpaca, not a real one,” she shared with a smile. “It’s just so cool. I have it in the front of my house now. It’s the cutest thing. I hug it every day.”

When Hilton was questioned about any the misconceptions she had about motherhood before becoming a parent, she shared, “There’s not really any misconceptions, but just that feeling of love. They say when you see your baby for the first time, you don’t really know how it is until you’ve experienced it and it’s one of the most magical feelings in the world. I’m so in love with my little angel.”
