Khloe Kardashian's Son's Name Revealed (and we love it)

The third season of The Kardashians premiered this week, giving the world what they wanted even more than Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson family pictures—the name of their second child together.

The star discussed the ups and downs of surrogacy on the season opener as well as her nine-month-old son’s much-anticipated name.

“His name is Tatum,” she finally revealed. “So, Tatum and True. Naming a human is really hard.”

Khloé Kardashian and Thompson also share a five-year-old daughter, True. Tristan Thompson is also father to son Prince, 6, from a previous relationship with ex Jordan Craig as well as a son from a brief relationship with Maralee Nichols.

We agree. And if you’re wondering, the moniker is of British origin and loosely translates to “cheerful, full of joy.”

She discussed the struggles she faced when naming baby Tatum on The Jennifer Hudson Show last month as well.

“At first, I really did not know what I was going to name him. I wanted to meet him and feel him out a little bit,” she said. “And so at first, he didn’t have a name. He’s been named, but I’ve been waiting for the premiere of our show and I didn’t know it was going to be this far out, so now, if my daughter outs me, I’m screwed,” she said of the ongoing baby name mystery.

Tatum, who was is the second shared child for Kardashian and Thomspon, was welcomed to the world via a gestational carrier in July of 2022 shortly after an affair (and child) with Maralee Nichols surfaced.

“It’s a mind f***,” she said of the surrogacy experience that rendered her baby son. “It’s really the weirdest thing,” adding that she felt “less connected,” to her second child when Scott Disick asked about her experience. “People say it’ll take a minute. This was definitely not easy.”

And there you have it—the Khloe-Kardashian-son-name mystery has been solved. Baby boy will be known as Tatum Thompson from now on.
